Holy S!!!T! Has Anyone Seen This??

So yea, right around $3,000 in total sales from 1 forum
post done the right way… but it was back in 2008, will
it still work??
Yup. That is unless people have stopped using forums as
personal soapboxes (and I don’t see that going down any
time soon.)
By the way… make sure you post your comments, ad this
to your FaceBook page as well as ReTweet. (I’m a sucker
for publicity!)
Q: Do I need to be brash and offensive like you to make
this work?
A: Hell no! What’s freaking wrong with you?!?!
I’m kidding
. While you don’t have to swear like a drunken
sailor (sorry Austin, TX!) you do need to be “controversial”.
Make people want to talk about what you just posted. Having
a “negative” spin + tone in your post can also dramatically
increase your eyeballs.
Q: What sort of topics can I “come out” against?
A: You can use this with anything EXCEPT other forum members.
Most of these places have hard rules about personal bashing.
It’s just not worth it AND when you attack somebody directly it
tends to make you look like an ass.
Better to essentially “show up and agree with them” (Thanks Dan
Kennedy!) Be harsh, be vague and always leave ‘em wanting
more details.
I can’t tell you how many people PMed me asking for the link
to that site.
Q: What sort of markets will this work with?
A: All of them (as far as I know). Just make sure you’re
in a forum that gets enough daily traffic to really make
an impact. Obviously larger markets will have more
daily traffic to play with.
Q: What should I do next?
A: Dude! Post your comments, spread this through
the “Share On FaceBook” link below and ReTweet the hell
out of it!

Hahahahahahahaha! Jonny I LOVE your humor and I think you’re totally right on this one. People always seem to get caught up in the negative spin.
Super smart how you came out against a known evil and used it to position yourself as a trusted advisor. I’d love to see where else you’ve used this tactic.
Thanks again for sharing!
Kate
PS: I heard a rumor you got married! Is this true???

Yo Jonny!
Great stuff once again. Long time no blog post? Is it because the new “Missus” has you on lock down?
This is a great tactic I never thought of! And I can see why it would work… you’re totally not selling anything and at the same time making yourself look like a total hero.
Nice work! I’m posting this here to my FB page.
Keep up the good work!
Scott

Nice move using that stupid cash gifting as the “known evil” to come out against! Had a few friends get suckered into programs like that and they all received “warning” letters a few weeks later.
Good to know you can be the good guy and still make money!
Great post!

Holy S!!!t! I can’t belive you just made this post! it’s freaking awesome! you rocks jonny!
The best part of this is still works like charm to these days! Being controversial cause a way better attention than a lame a** kisser who is a conciliator and agrees all the time.
(I’m not sure if I can use the ass word in the comment… can I?)

Hey Jonny,
Cheers for the post. You really do think out of the box. It’s like the “Keep Off The Grass” or “Wet Paint” or “Don’t Press This Button”
We walk on the grass, touch the paint to check it’s wet and press the button to see what happens. Maybe we should start making sales pages about how crap our products are and that you don’t want this product or service so don’t buy it.
Would curiosity make you buy?????
Should try this out.
Cheers

Hey man,
Pretty cool video, just one thing though.
On the video it says that you joined the forum in december 2007.
So presumably, the forum members allready know you.
I guess that’s the reason why they even listen to what you have to say.
I’m pretty sure that this technique wouldn’t work with freshly joined forums

Hi Jonny,
I’m a longtime follower of your methods. You never cease to amaze me! How do you get these crazy ideas?? Will try this out. Thanks,
Tess

Yo Julian,
Very astute of you. Yes, you need to actually be a member of the forum for this to work. But at the time I think I had less than 200 posts.
So you don’t need much. I frequently recommend getting about 50 posts before you toss in a signature line and then you can do whatever you like. Just NEVER directly sell.
Hope that helps!
Jonny

Very cool Jonny, I think you can even expand it to other sites like youtube and other community type sites. I like this method, it is EXTREMELY easy to do. Just jump into where the traffic is and start a conversation.
Anyway, keep up the great work Jonny.

Hey, Jonny… Guess what?
About a month ago – actually maybe
it was more like 2 months ago -
I brought the exact thread that you’re
showing in your video above back
into the public eye by making a post
in it.
I actually did a search for your name
on the Warrior Forum and saw every thread you
ever created and started making comments on
them.
I had just joined the warrior forum, so I
was posting like crazy so I could get my
post count to the amount I would need where
I would then be allowed to Private Message.
Well, long story short… one of the scumbag
moderators took a disliking to me and banned
me from the website.
So, I went back and joined under a different
email and different username, found the
moderator who banned me, and told him he
could go do something with his mother.
Now if I want to go back to
the warrior forum again… I think I am
going to have to go back and join with a
brand new computer because the moderator,
before banning me, let me know I had 4 other
usernames with the warrior forum, which I
had…. and he told me he banned every
single one of them… I checked if he
had… and he was right… all my accounts
were banned – scumbag.
I don’t know how these jerks gather personal
information behind the scenes, but this moron
knew I had multiple accounts that had been
generated with my home computer which to me
is like Internet Peeping Tom-ism.
I felt like this jerk off moderator was
that creepy guy with the reverse peephole
camera who filmed Erin Andrews.
Um… so, yeah, I am a big fan of yours.
However…. there is one weird thing
I found out… I was wondering if you
could shed some light on it…
In the above video you say that
cash gifting is illegal and totally not
something someone should be caught up in.
Well, there is a video on YouTube
showing you and Joey Kissimmee
riding some crazy ride at some fair
or something…. but anyway…
Mr. Kissimmee is big time into
cash gifting… or at least I know
he WAS… I remember a news report came
out a couple of years ago talking about
how cash gifting was illegal… and the
news reports used youtube videos that
Mr. Kissimmee had uploaded showing
how he was involved in and prospering
from cash gifting programs like
Abundant Living System…
It was because of Mr. Kissimmee that
I found out about cash gifting and I
was going to get involved until I did
some research and someone told me that
if I did it, I’d go to jail… so I
never got involved in cash gifting.
My question is this: Did you ever
talk to Mr. Kissimmee and find out
from him if he knew it was illegal?
Does Mr. Kissimmee still do cash gifting
or did he stop?
Thank you.
Frank

It’s kinda like viral marketing without promoting anything hehe.
Like this one guy in another forum made a thread and asked what should I spend my 2million bucks on? He’s selling a guide in his sig
The thread has over 400 responses in like a day lol
And Hey Jonny Long time no See

Frank,
Dude that’s a bunch to write about!
Let me stat with the Joey thing…
I actually have no idea what the kid does for a living! I always assumed it was run-of-the-mill Internet marketing! Most times when online dudes meet we don’t do the “what sites do you run” butt sniffing game.
That’s just weird. We tend to be a bit more “hey, if you’re fun to hang with maybe we’ll talk some biz over a few beers.”
I agree with you, that’s actually a really big deal if he is doing CGing so next time he and I run into each other I’ll ask him.
Truth be told he strikes me as an intelligent guy so I’m hoping he’s no longer in the game (if he actually was)
Now… onto your forum woes…
Dude. Not to kick a guy when he’s down but you basically broke every code and rule in the book!
Warrior forum especially has strict rules about joining under multiple ID’s. And by doing it from the same computer you made it child-like simple to track you!
In this case you’ll not only have to get a new computer but actually a whole new ISP account! (Unless you have dynamic IP’s)
They also have a long standing “instant ban” when it comes to mouthing off to people personally. Moderators in particular.
Now while I can’t speak to what got this dude on your butt in the first place I can speculate that you may have been a bit to “forward” with something (opinion and/or aff link) a bit to early in the game for their taste.
My personal take on forums is, when new, you should come in and start by asking obvious questions most “lifers” will have an instant answer to.
Until you’re at around 50 – 100 posts NEVER drop a link… even if it’s to a YouTube video. Once you’re at a level of posting where people feel you’re “one of them” you can then start being all ninja.
So tread carefully in the future!
And thanks for the info on Joey… since the kids is pretty damn cool I’ll make sure he’s not on the bad-boy end of some legal stick.
Chat later,
Jonny

Hey Jonny first time I’ve seen your blog very cool man. And about your reader Frank that pissed off a moderator and your come back to that being maybe he “the moderator” thought the guy was being to forward with an opinion or aff link to early on could be that was the reason! Anyway thanks for the read and the video. Take care my man!

Jonny,
Say man, I’ve had 2 posts on the Warrior Forum that ended up being wildly successful. The first one got over 380 responses.
For those of you in Rio Linda, that’s 380 page views with one post.
Here’s the post…
Who here is college educated?
That’s it for the question.
I’m 32 years old, married with 2 kids, a small business owner , full time student (working on a degree in marketing) and trying to make a living with IM.
I just wanted to know how many of the gurus and warrior members are college educated.
I read a book called “the Millionaire Mind”. From the same author of the Millionaire Next Door.
His study showed that over 80% of millionaires are college educated. I thought that was pretty interesting and wanted to put it to the test.
Happy marketing,
Shane
and here’s the link to the WF discussion…http://www.warriorforum.com/main-internet-marketing-discussion-forum/180953-who-here-college-educated.html
My other post… My First $100 Day With Article Marketing… had over 60 views in a short period of time.
So basically, to bring this ignoramus post around full tilt, I use traffic generation methods that I learned from you over a year ago from The Money Siphon System and it still works.
Jolly good Jonny. Jolly good indeed.
Peace,
Shane
