Are You Freaking KIDDING ME?!?!?!
Please see the video market “Exhibit A” and make sure you watch this lunacy through to
to the bitter end.
Why? Because if after you see this and you’re still complaining it’s hard to be successful
online you may just need to get slapped.
Exhibit A:
EXACTLY What You’re Seeing:
This is a just a random 15 year old kid in his messy bedroom using nothing more than a crappy webcam and a free YouTube account. (Which means he *may* have registered a gmail account as well)
He’s obviously a dork.
On top of that he’s really awkward looking. (Totally NOT uber-popular movie star
material)
On top of that he’s lip-syncing (badly) to a 50 Cent tune…
Then what happens? A multi-platinum artist walks into his freaking bedroom
and starts lip-syncing WITH him.
Some of his videos are getting over 20,000,000 views… that’s TWENTY MILLION.
He’s being talked about on TV, Radio and blogs EVERYWHERE.
It didn’t cost him a dime.
He’s now famous.
He can now make TONS of loot from this and launch a life-time
career in show biz.
Did I mention he’s only 15 and he used basic technology that probably came
with a cheap computer I’m guessing his parents bought for him?
If you check out his YouTube channel you can see he’s been doing this for
about 12 months.
What’s the trick?
#1: Do something simple that’s interesting & replicatable
#2: Upload said thing weekly to YouTube (or another social media site)
#3: Keep doing it ESPECIALLY if you look like a total dork
#4: DO NOT EVER say this is “too hard” or “it won’t work for me”
Here ends your lesson for today.
Hit me with your comments, post this to FB and Tweet it like crazy… LOVE
that publicity

Dude… I can’t believe I watched all the way through… haha
You’re dead on… “making it” online doesn’t take much more than executing a simple idea, over and over, which that takes discipline… and THAT is where most people fail.

This is great! I need away to make money, send more info,Plzzz!

Thats friggin fun and amazing of this kid to be achieving results like that. Just goes to show you, kids with no fear or life experience just get up and do this stuff.
Great take on it Jonny!

Snap! Um-huh!!! That is rad. While I flounder trying to reach perfection, this kid is just doing it. Thanks Jonny! Time to get my head out of my ass……….

Yo Jonny,
As always, “truer words were never spoken” by a mere mortal!
But, how did this KID get the CENTS to do this ? What’s the back story?
Thanks for all you do and impart.

Posting this BS on your site makes him more famous. This is the most stupid video ever I can believe other 20 Million have waisted 4 min of their life’s watching this dork kid. My god!
Posted on December 7, 2010 at 4:58 pm
Back to my first love, Jonny . . . Thanks for this.
Posted on December 7, 2010 at 4:59 pm
Didn’t get it. I don’t see how that video relates to an online business.
Posted on December 7, 2010 at 5:14 pm
Great video, does it matter if it is technically crap, of course not.
The kid had an idea and followed it through, good on him.
Taking action consistently is the only hard thing we have to do.
Posted on December 7, 2010 at 5:18 pm
I think I know…the rest of the story.
Young Jonny A. makes a few “videos” to get friends and puts them on YouTube…
…and after he makes millions of dollars he has decided to share his story and help others do it too!
Posted on December 7, 2010 at 5:27 pm
It’s not the stupid kid doing anything it’s the fact 50 is in there with him. Put anyone with a celebrity into a video and it’s gonna get huge views. The question is how do you get the celebrity to do it ?
Posted on December 7, 2010 at 6:01 pm
Best 3:43sec I have spent in knowing disbelief pulling my head out of ass then pulled foot from mouth and kick myself in that ass again.
My own perceived inhabitations and over-thinking perfectionism leads to some serious paralysis of over analysis thinking that professionalism is what people want.
BS… entertain (theme based maybe) then message… or just entertain and subscribe.. yaaaaa….
oops, over-thinking again, Yada is telling me to just do, then see (real fast)
Posted on December 7, 2010 at 7:00 pm
Actually ppenguin it WAS the stupid kid. 50 came later. The kid did it all himself first and the world reacted NOT the other way around.
The kid was a total nobody until he just started doing weird stuff on his YouTube channel. Now he’s appearing on talk shows.
Pretty cook shiz

Great info!
Wow, I spent hour after hour on a couple of videos to get them just right. Turns out, all I had to do was do something silly and/or dumb. Hey! I am already good at that! LOL
Posted on December 7, 2010 at 7:25 pm
This has nothing to do with anybody being able to be successful making a viral video. It has EVERYTHING to do with 50 coming out of the kids closet.
I take it you have a new video course ready to launch?

I Love (with a capital L) being an entrepreneur and seeing what other ones are or are NOT doing.
Was that video GENIUS? In some ways yes…in some ways no….but who cares? The point Jonny makes is this…JUST DO IT! If it doesn’t work, do it AGAIN until it DOES.
Happy Holidays to ALL…

Patrick, The point is that he’s “succeeding” by doing something. Yes, he’s a dork, and a talentless one at that, but he did it.
Posted on December 7, 2010 at 8:07 pm
Yes the videos are popular but I do think you are miss representing the reality of his fame and popularity as do most marketers.
His looks “dorkish”and video content are not what makes this kid popular alone.
The moral of his uniqueness is the fact he suffers from a very rare decease – MPS VI is a rare inherited lysosomal storage disorder estimated to occur once in every 340,000 live births.
Katie Pery saw his lip sync of her song Teenage Dream and found out about his illness and struggle.
It was then through her recognition that his popularity grew and the rest is history.
This does not take away from the kids courage to be out there on youtube but the story is in his battle with a very rare illness and celebrity support.
There are 1,000′s of videos on youtube with people doing exactly the same thing which are still yet to be viewed by more than 10 people and some go to extremes to make them standout in the crowd.
The difference here is his illness and the fact everyone loves a story of battling against the odds, even Katie Pery and 50 cents.

Dazz,
Good spot on that one! So let’s ad in to the mix “Have a great story to go along with what you’re doing”.
Truth be told the disorder (although unfortunate) has nothing to do with what he accomplished. Help with the leverage? Sure! But he could have just as easily been the chubby ninja kid of 3 years ago (HUGE YouTube sensation)
Why not a kid who has abusive parents who lip-syncs to popular music? Why not a kid who is trying to raise money by selling 1×1 pixel ad space for $1? (Dude made LOADS of loot and got media attention)
Bottom line: It doesn’t matter what your starting condition is. Just freaking do it!!

good one Jonny…just gotta figure out somthn for myself …
Posted on December 8, 2010 at 12:51 am
Yes Jonny, he created his own luck by taking that initial step to upload his 1st video without fear or favor.
At bit like Suzan Boyle (the UK’s ‘Got Talent’ show runner-up) who for years knew she had a good voice but had such a low self esteem her talents lay dormant and at the age of 40 odd finally decided to do something – take action and risk being laughed at and booed in front of millions.
But as it turned out the very thing she was afraid of became the most endearing thing to those she most feared.

I’m intrigued to know how he managed to get 50 Cent to get involved. Is it an overlay or was 50 Cent really there?
Posted on December 8, 2010 at 5:08 am
Wow, and I thought that getting myself on video was hard. This total dorko figured it out without even trying. I feel dumb now, but hey that’s the way it goes huh?
Posted on December 9, 2010 at 1:06 pm
Hey, Jonny.
Have you ever heard of Dan Brock’s DEAD BEAT SUPER AFFILIATE? It’s about setting up simple sites to have them sell physical products from places like Amazon.com.
Anyway, just wanted to find out what you may have heard about this product.
Thanks a bunch!

Jen, I’ve heard of the method but not the system.
Test it out and see if it’s cool.
Those mini sites can do well when you tend to em

Help me, Obi-Wan Andrews, you’re my only hope.
I had a question about the IP Address that is associated with a person’s gmail account.
Let’s say I open a gmail account from my home computer… every time I send an email from that computer… and from that gmail account… the IP address will be unique to that gmail account and also that computer, correct?
What I want to know is… is there anyway I can change the IP address that is associated with that gmail account so that the IP address does not come back to my lovely place of residence?
Do you know what steps I would have to take to do this, Jonny? a free way perhaps?
Thank you, Jon.
And no I don’t smoke crack, though I should.

MJ, that is the single strangest question I’ve seen in a while!
I’m fully sure the Google dudes are tracking what you do. In fact I KNOW it… (It’s sort of what THEY do)
The truth is I’m not a tech guy. (SHOCKER!) I think the way to do this would be to simply get a new ISP or something. Or burn your computer and run off a tin can or something.
Or… you could GOOGLE it! Hahahahahahahahahahahaha! They are good for something after all
Keep it weird,
Jonny
