Good job in making the plan clearer. The “implementation factor” really hit home. There’s nothing like getting paid up front to prove that this model works.
I’ve found that when you’re trying to explain blogs and newsletters to small businesses, especially tradesmen. it’s easier to compare it to when somebody picks their brain over the counter, at a bar, etc. When you explain to them that this would make them the “Go To” guy, it makes sense to them. Especially when you are providing the content (PLR)

Very nice. Loaded with good stuff.
Now I have to convince myself to charge as high as you suggest. I’m on the lower end. I don’t know if it’s because I’m starting the offline thing, strange salesman’s guilt, or fear I won’t deliver value to the extent they make more money than they oay me, or the market won’t bear it at this time, or I need cash now…

Hey dude, thanks for bringing clarity to your process. Since our company has done so many sites for clients w/SEO, last year was our breaking point as the economy started to go into decline, thus I had 2 start learning new strategies. I’ve been learning since Dec ’08 and was looking at Social Media/Article Marketing/PR/PPC/CPA/Video/FREE Economy/Squeeze Pages/Landing (Video) Pages/Continuity/Methods of Monetization online, etc. I have to say that your method is what I’ve been looking for to solidify my online/offline marketing process.
I have already started sharing with my clients that SEO, driving FREE traffic to a website is not the ONLY way to get clients. Althought my clients command page 1 of Google SERP, sending traffic to a webpage that tells about the company and not SELL the prospect is a mute point. Thus, in my learning I realize we have to send my client’s targetted traffic to a squeeze/landing page that focus on their prospect’s pains, give their prospects something free to start building trust, and then u can sell them.
I concur with Jay Rhome’s advice to do video content (give free golden nuggets to prospects). Eg. one of my prospects is in the music training business in our local area. I’ve discussed giving ONE free video lesson on playing guitar – thus we take prospects to a squeeze page, collect email/name, then send them to their FREE guitar lesson. I’m toying with sending them to their ‘choice’ lesson; guitar, drums, piano, etc., thus giving targetted FREE lessons in order to build trust. Then we sell them.

Ha, I thought the info you gave was great. Thanks for think about the little guys out there trying to make it. I did have a question about what info you are giving the prospect on your website that you have them link to from craigslist or etc. Are you telling them that you offer a service that will help their business? If you ever need someone to work for free so they can learn your secrets let me know…Think about, I live in Chicago to (LOL). Thanks again

The info on these videos has got me pumped for this business im just confused of what the main page content should be on a website like plumberhelperonline.com is the main page just a squeeze page and that’s it? and if it is how does just a squeeze page get ranked in Google. do we put the payment options on our websites?
Is our website just a front for the business for credibility then we focus on ranking the customers web page to Google?
